Nuuksio is a beautiful national park located in Espoo. Just 20 minutes of drive from home and you are in the middle of rocky green forest. And yes, it is always a good idea to have stereo camera with you. Doing stereo pictures in the forest sometimes can be tricky. It’s harder to control distance to objects. Also in post processing it is harder to realign images for Stereo Photomaker. At least for me it is sometimes creates stereo artefacts on the bottom of picture if most of the content is grass and trees.
Nevertheless you can get pretty stunning imaginary from the nature. For quite some time now I follow this guy from Flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/relaxednow/. He posts stereo anaglyphs from various places, and even with some wild animals. Check out his flickr stream. You will find true gems.
This wasn’t my first time doing stereo pictures in the forest. But it was my first time in national park with stereo rig. We did a half-day walk and I managed to snap some pics.
All photos are available in two formats – crossview side-by-side and half-color anaglyph.

Or you can watch color anaglyphs right here. Put your red-cyan 3d glasses on.
